Do you have what it takes to win the “Football Innovation Award” for the best startup in the field of football? The Future of Football Business Conference is inviting startups from the Alpe-Adria region to participate, network, pitch and form new business ties for their product or solution in the field of football with organizations from across Europe. Besides the award, selected startups will have the opportunity to pitch to conference partners for the possibility of future collaborations. The application process starts 1 June 2019, all interested to participate can contact the organizers for further information. The Future of Football Business Conference will take place on 12 September 2019, at Messe Congress in Graz, with a pre-conference program the day before.
The business of football is changing
Clubs are becoming global brands and, to an extent, media companies. Digitization is changing how clubs work, from internal management to external communication and the various ways in which fans consume the greatest sport in the world. This opens a wide space for digital solutions in all areas; from fan-engagement, eSports, individual content or outstanding stadium experiences.
The Football Innovation Award
The organizers of Future of Football Business Conference are diving into these topics by introducing the Football Innovation Award, “Best Innovative Startup”. Along with other forms of presenting, startups developing new products and solutions for the business of football, will be able to network, pitch and form new ties with organizations from across Europe. The best will be selected by a jury of international experts from clubs, leagues and companies, like Timm Jäger (Advisor of the Board, Eintracht Frankfurt) or Patrick Lenhart (Head of Marketing, Austrian tipico Bundesliga). The winner will receive media services from FOOTBALL BUSINESS INSIDE and partners as well as the opportunity to introduce themselves to cooperation partners like the Austrian tipico Bundesliga.
The application process will start 1 June and end 31 July 2019. The five finalists will be announced on 12 August 2019. The Football Innovation Award Ceremony will take place on 12 September 2019.

Startup Pitching and Exhibition
All attending startups will have the opportunity to be among the 10 startups selected by the conference partner companies and pitch them their product or solution. You’ll also be able to network with football business-leaders from all across Europe with an exhibition stand for startups for special prices.
