Ljubljana University Incubator was founded by the largest University of Slovenia – University of Ljubljana with the aim of boosting entrepreneurship amongst students and academic staff. Incubator is practicing the concept of “personal entrepreneurship coaches” who help entrepreneurs and everyone who would like to become one test their ideas in industry. Incubator is changing the conditions for the establishment and development of innovative enterprises.
 
Ljubljana University Incubator is focusing on improving the transfer of knowledge between the University of Ljubljana and industry; raising entrepreneurial awareness within the university environment; stimulating and facilitating the formation of research and high-tech companies; contributing to the establishment of university spin-off/spin-out companies; creating new jobs and thus contributing to increasing the employability of University of Ljubljana graduates; improving business knowledge and skills of students, alumni, researchers and professors of the University of Ljubljana; increasing the percentage of women active in the entrepreneurial arena;…
 
Ljubljana University Incubator provides with its team and consultants a programme for business idea development, business mentorship and investment readiness programme to its members and several trainings and seminars for young researchers in order to transfer research results to the market.
